Accessibility

Built to be used by everyone

We remediate source code and publish what we find. We will never install an overlay widget or claim automated compliance — on our site or a client's — because neither one is real.

Target WCAG 2.2 AALast assessed 30 Aug 2026

The statement

Conformance target

caprenna.com aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. Accessibility is part of our build standard, not an afterthought: semantic landmarks, one h1 per page, visible focus everywhere, 4.5:1 text contrast, keyboard operability with no traps, and full content available with JavaScript disabled.

What moves without asking

This site uses decorative motion — a canvas animation on the home page, drifting line-art on inner pages, a custom cursor. All of it honors your system's reduce motion setting: with it enabled, the animations do not run and every piece of content ships visible. Nothing on the site flashes, and nothing auto-plays with sound.

How we test

Automated scanning (axe-core) on the key templates, a manual keyboard-only pass on the primary flows (navigation, contact form, diagnostic) before each release, 400% zoom and 320px reflow checks, and periodic screen reader passes with NVDA and VoiceOver. Automated tools catch roughly a third of real issues; the manual passes exist because of the other two-thirds.

Known exceptions

  • The home page dependency-stack visual is a canvas drawing. Its full argument is restated in the surrounding text, and the pull buttons are standard, labeled controls — but the drawing itself is not machine-readable.
  • The decorative page scenes are marked hidden from assistive technology; they convey no content.
